A couple weeks ago I pulled the trigger on a 2011 Kingpin 8 Ball. Completely stock, 2,700 miles. Now its time to start tinkering, specifically with the seat and adding cruise control.

I like the Corbin dual touring saddle. http://www.corbin.com/polaris_victory/vkingdte.shtml

I'd also like to add cruise control.

Anyone have experience with Corbin or adding cruise control?

Looking forward to having it set up in time for the weather to break.

Congrats, I bought mine new and have 30k on it now and love every mile. I've upgraded to the stage 1 with the swept pipes, but didn't like the stock wheels so bought a pair of stock wheels from from previous model 8ball. I have powder coated mostly everything gloss black that I could down to the swing arm to match with the contrast of the bike. I haven't had a problem with the stock seat as I've been to the smokies twice on it, but the cruise control is on my list as it is a little pricey at around $400 I think, but love this bike and sure you will too, enjoy and congrats again!

Welcome to the mayhem!!

As for the Corbin, I have one on my XCT. They were the only ones that offered a seat for it that was adjusted a bit when I was looking. Have fun dealing with them. Some have a good experience, but everything about owning a Vic has been trying for me so far. Great end product though. FWIW
Cruise? Well if it isn't there from the factory, bring your checkbook. Anything more than a throttle lock type will be costly. Several companies make them in varying levels.

A search link if you haven't already done so. If you can install yourself it will help, but be aware Vic wiring can be fragile to down right frail in some cases. Just something to think about and prepare for if you tap existing wwiring.

Enjoy the bike and have fun on the board.

Congrats! I put about 30k on the stock seat before deciding to try the Mustang. I think the Corbin looks good and everyone I've talked to that has a Corbin seat on any bike says they were hard as a rock at first but after about 1000 miles of break in they now love them. I went with a 50-60 dollar throttle lock from Cruise Mate, it's been great. I can set it and still adjust it. I just use it to give my wrist an occaisional stretch on long trips.

Welcome to the VOG. I'm getting the Victory cruise controll installed on my bike this upcoming Friday (2/21/14). Yes it's pricey but I've used the one on my Dad's Kingpin and love it. When ever I borrow his bike I really get to enjoy the scenery more because I'm not looking at my speedo all the time. Because we all know these bikes like to run and 55mph isn't where they want to be. All Victory bikes 2009 and after come prewired for it so if you do go with teh Victory brand it should hook right up.
