It is no coincidence that you say that the word has no effect. So many people argue against what it really means in order justify their actions. The goal has always been to normalize racism so no one will care. What really baffles me is I never called you a racist. Yet you feel you should defend yourself to me. As a moderator, I want to see a welcoming place where folks can talk about Victory motorcycles. Traffic (or lack of) doesn't concern me. That's the owner's job (and it appears they give less than a crap too). If that causes the site to go belly up, so be it.

I'd be curious to know who complained even though I never will. I would bet it was no one on the right. We can take it as well as dish it out.

This country is deeply divided right now. I don't see that changing anytime soon. Keeping the communication flowing, even if some consider it unseemly, is key.

I would advise both sides from getting personal. I know when someone hits me I tend to hit back much harder.

Yup, it's far too late to try and put that genie back in the bottle (so to speak). You have to admit though, the threads that were blocked are the threads that generate the most traffic for this site... Sure one could argue if the traffic is "good" or "bad", but clicks are clicks and revenue is generated.

Revenue is generated when sponsors believe they can sell their products. Last I checked we don't have any sponsors selling hoods and pitchforks. Number of clicks can be an indicator but it has to include number of clicks on the ads posted, not just the forum itself.

If I had my way, I'd delete all of the non MC-related or Victory related threads on this site. I have the ability to do so, believe me, but I don't feel it's my place to do so. No one has told me I can't... This forum would be so much better off without all the non-motorcycle/victory bull****.

As far as I am concerned, take your political/religious views (regardless who/what you support) and take to to an appropriate site.
I don't know about you, but I'm sure there are more than a few motorcycle enthusiasts who didn't come here to see what side of the aisle everyone else on.

Yep, I have tried to have an intelligent conversation with him from the time I welcomed him to the VOG. Wasn't long till the Race Card was played and I remember the first time. After several attempts by many and the last @Blowndodge did after being told it wouldn't work, he tried anyway.
