I just got her back together this morning. Wasn't sure how this paint was going to turn out but now that I can see it on the bike I like it.

The pics don't show it well but when the sun is on the far side it turns a bright copper color.

Also got my seats back from Mean City Cycles, Only have about 50 miles seat time but so far I like it. Need to put the back seat on & take my lovely bride for a cruise.

Shame to be recently laid off when the temps are around the 80* mark and the bike is back together eh.

Ride safe,

Chas.

Good looker, love the pipes also.

Very nice paint .
Are you going to put the badges back on ?

I got the paint from kustomrides.com It's called Picasso, there are others to chose from. It's supposed to shift from blue to purple to red but I definitely see orange/copper in it when the suns right

As for the Vic badges I don't think I'll put the stockers back on, but instead I've seen vinyl letters I may get.

HEY Chaz, the chamelion paint is really cool to watch it change colors. Just curious, But Is that type of paint really expensive or the same price as other custom paint ????
Go to their site & click on motorcycle kits. The kit comes with everything you need (paint wise, not sandpaper or masking tape etc.) for about $250.00 after shipping. Then the only other cost is finding someone to paint it.

They said the darker the base coat the more dramatic the color change would be so I had my painter go with black for the base.

Also this was a gamble not seeing one already painted with this paint to know what it would really look like but I think I'm going to be happy.

Yesterday I stopped to look at a 65 Mustang for sale in a yard and there was already a guy looking at it. Before long he wasn't circling the car anymore but my bike, he then started a conversation with me about it, really loved the colors on the bike and asked a bunch of questions. Turns out he is into restoring old cars, maybe he is going to use the paint on one of them, IDK. Anyway it is getting noticed and since it looked rather plain before I'm happy about that.
