Cant find this on witch drs

Last Thursday I checked with Arlen Ness website and called them since the part was out of stock. They offered free shipping with the same price as Witchdoctors on their website. After speaking with the Ness folks they said it wouldn't be in stock until the 27th of Feb. WD had the color I wanted in stock, so I ate the shipping cost because I have little to no patience.

My old Softail never had a lock on the fuel cap, guess I don't frequent the places where that would worry me too much.

Love the looks and the ease of gassing up. Still I prefer the security of a locking cap. It's not that big a deal to unlock the cap anyway. $150 is steep.

I have one, and it was well spent money. I would do it again. The factory cap drove me nuts! Just don't try to hold it by those small relief areas or you may drop it. Mine is waxed and very slick. I spin it off with the reliefs, and hold it by the outside edge.

I got the same one for my Dad for Christmas for his Kingpin. Since it's winter here he hasn't been able to ride the bike and stop for a fill-up. So his question was, where do you guys put the cap when you are filling up at a gas station?

I just lay mine on the seat. Just make sure it don't slide off.

I've had mine for @ 1 year now and love it. I hated the stock locking cap. This speeds things up when gassing up and looks much cleaner in my opinion

Nothing against the good doctor but J&P Cycles looks like they are having a 10% off sale on their Arlen Ness accessories. Just ordered my cap for $135 with free shipping. I like giving J&P a little business since I enjoy going to their annual open house every couple of years.

On top of the pump just like any other gas cap that isn't tethered.
