      Hi Paul. I've been reading a few posts about voltage regulators and seen your name. Would like to ask a few questions if you have the time.

        I figured it was voltage regulator from all the threads I've read here so I bought a mosfet from a company in Quebec. Hooked it up and it fried instantly and ruined the new battery.

        Sent it back and company said it was defective. Got a new one and installed. Worked for about 20 min then fried again. This time blue smoke came out of voltage regulator. Quickly disconnected power and removed. I have no idea what to do next

        Thanks man, I found the only way you are going to know if you like the Darkside is to try it out. Some like it and some don't, and there is nothing wrong with that, at least they tried it. I was nervous at first and for me I quickly found that it was good for me. Good luck and let us know which way you go.

        No not really, that's why I tried different types. I would like to try other brands (Amsoil, Royal Purple) but I find them a bit too expensive, but maybe someday.

        OH yes ,the reason I asked is because the Vic oil seems to be done at around 3000 mls. I agree on the cost of the others, but I may try them after the Rotella

      Looks like I should add the fuse block and ground terminals before I add my Doran TPMS but I have searched all day for a supplier and the ones I found on Ebay would be coming from china. Do you remember where you bought yours?
