Shark Cycle. Stafford Springs Ct. Bought a red xct and when it came in had some VERY minor paint chipping on the fairing. Don't even think I would have noticed it the day of delivery. They did however and brought it to my attention. I had a couple of options. Order a new bike and wait, or they order a new fairing and I ride right away. They warned me that it may be a while to get the fairing and it did take time. Everything was documented on the paperwork and in the end everything was taken care of. So I guess even though there was slight delivery damage the dealer noticed and did the right thing. Can't complain. I do most of my own servicing so I can't comment on their service department much with the exception that the new fairing was put on while I waited with no issues. Because I don't use the service department much I will give them a 4 out of 5 stars.

All right ladies and gentlemen. Let me start by saying I'm a fresh face to the forum. With that being said my knowledge of this forum is limited I'll learn more as I go on. So if there is already a thread that had been started that deals with this topic DON'T try to jump down my throat and ***** saying I should search harder next time. That kind of behavior is what ruins forums and threads. Now to the case in point. Like I said I didn't see a thread but there may already be one on here that goes threw and talks about experiences of individuals at the dealerships near around them. I know this could be met with a who cares I already have my dealership and I'm not straying attitude but for people who tour or people who move or even better someone who is looking at buying their first victory this could be helpful. All you have to do is name the dealership you went to (the address would help a bit as well) and jot down a bit about your experience with the staff their selection and knowledge of the product they are selling. Lets go ahead and give a star rating 1 to 5. 1 being the worst possible and 5 being the best possible IF YOU ARE A DEALERSHIP AND YOU SEE YOUR REVIEW DO NOT START TRYING TO DEFEND YOURSELF AND WASTE SPACE. INSTEAD LOOK AT WHAT WAS SAID DON'T GET BUTT HURT AND TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM THE CUSTOMER HAD WHEN THEY VISITED!! I'll start with the two dealerships I have myself visited. first dealership HK MOTORSPORTS 1354 Hooksett rd, Hooksett NH 03106 This was the 1st dealership I went to when I saw a highball. The first time me and a friend walked in was to get a oil change kit for his 8 ball. This is when I first talked to a salesmen he was your average fast talking how can I get you on this today kinda sales person. He didn't know much about the bike aside that he claimed they had only sold one other one and didn't expect to see another one on the floor after this one for quit awhile. He then asked what I was riding at the time. I said i have a chopped xs at the moment and he went on to talk about reliability and what not and how it would end up leaving me stranded and how i don't wanna go for long rides on a hard tail. this was the start of me getting irritated. when i was leaving he made a remark about how i better carry tools with me when i ride the bike I built from the ground up. big mistake if you want someones business you do not get it by insulting them and things they take pride in. For the record my xs is a solid build and I would ride it from shore to shore without a single worry of it dying on me and stranding me. Anyway we left and I sat and thought about the high ball did my research and went back for a second time to look into the bike more. This time not a single sales person approached me for a good 15-20 mins. this time a different sales person came up to me. He didn't seem to want to talk to me or answer my questions on the bike until i said i was looking to buy it then and there. at that point he got a little bit more friendly but not to much. it seemed like ever question i had he could not answer and had to go talk to service or parts to get a answer for me. he then let me know besides the high ball in front of me the dealership has sold at least 5 others that he knew of. so not only did the first salesperson insult me he also lied to me. I got tired of dealing with the staff so I asked what the price was and the answer was 14,000 for the bike bone stock no add ons nothing. Needless to say I walked away at that point. Besides the stock they keep on bikes I would never recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Victory new or used. Go in get your parts and get out is my two cents on them. The sales staff is unknowlageble on the product they carry and tend to be a bit unfriendly. Again this is just what my experience was. They get one star in my opinion
HK Powersports Hooksett, NH While it sounds like you truly had a bad experience at HK in Hooksett, I had the total opposite experience with them buying my 8Ball in June. Chris Clark was extremely professional and knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. I was offered a great price on the bike with the Cobra tri-power exhaust, air filter, eflash, back seat and rear pegs and bought it on the spot. In fact, I shopped 2 other local dealers via email, one responded 4 days later and neither one answered my questions on price or availability. HK also does not charge the dreaded "set up" fee that other dealers charge about $400 for. Just a discount on the bike and $25 for a NH title and that's it. I recommend HKP in Hooksett, and see Chris Clark for a 5 star buying experience.

I would have thought that there would have been more input into a thread such as this....

They say a dealership sells you the first bike with their sales staff, and the second bike with their service staff.

I wonder how many people go back to Tousley Motorsports in White Bear Lake, Minnesota? I have had work done there several times, both on my current Victory and my previous Honda Motorcycles and they always seem to screw things up. The reason I end up going there is that they are only 3 miles from my house. However, from now on I am traveling 83 miles to Mies Outland in Watkins, Minnesota for any future work as I have had great service with them. Also I had some warranty work done at Northway Sports in East Bethel, Minnesota and I was pleased with their work.

Perhaps at some point I will share my horror stories with Tousley if anyone is interested.

Thumbs up for CO Powersports in Denver. I drove 6 hours for my bike because they gave such a good deal, especially on trade-in of my 6 month old Hammer. I do my own mx so can't comment on servicing. My two local Albuquerque dealers don't compare. Will happily drive up there again for my next bike.

When it comes to service, avoid Tousley! I now go up to Northway Sports as they have top notch people that actually know their stuff working in the service department.

Based on my personal experience: Tousley Motorsports = Great sales team + absolutely horrendous service team that bad mouths the Victory brand on a regular basis

Here is the Google Review I gave Tousley:
Had my bike in for a fuel pump recall. The parts arrived timely and they had me in and out in just over two weeks. Yes, two weeks because one of the service technicians scratched my tank really bad and it had to be repainted. Tousley did everything they could to ensure that I was 100% satisfied with my bike before I rode away. Stuff happens and it's good to know that Tousley stands behind their work. If a mistake is made they will own it and resolve the matter as timely as possible.

September 2015 Edit:
I am dropping my review from 4 to 2 stars as I continue to have problems with Tousley. They bad mouth the products they sell at the service counter, specifically Victory motorcycles. They severely overfilled the oil in my bike knowing full well that I was going for a week long ride into the mountains out West. They also continue to tell me it is completely normal for Victory bikes to spit oil all over the left side of the bike when ran at highway speeds for hours on end. They said if it is overfilled with oil (which they did) it's far worse, but still normal to occur when the oil level is in the safe zone.
I've had oil spewing onto the left side of my bike since May of this year. Other very well known and respected certified experts have stated oil is pooling on a consistent basis on the back of the front head where there is a known potential casting issue on approximately 3-5% of the 106's. Tousley will not perform an extended warranty claim because they believe and have stated on several occasions that there is a design flaw causing the oil to spew from the crankcase, up the hose, into the airbox, then drip down onto the engine exactly where a porous head issue can occur during the casting process. Tousley has looked into the issue three times and I still have oil blowing onto my left side cover, saddle bag, and the passenger backrest (on occasion). The Tousley service team blames this on a Victory design flaw and claims there is absolutely nothing wrong with my bike. I am done with Tousley and see no reason to return. "Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining."

October 2015 Edit:
I'm now dropping my rating from a 2 to a 1. I took my bike to a different Victory dealer. The other dealer has had my bike for less than 1 week and they already have an approved extended warranty claim opened up to repair my porous head. Replacement parts are already on the way. Whatever you do, don't bring your Victory to Tousley Motorsports for service!

Thumbs up to Victory of Citrus Heights in Northern CA. This is a family run dealership and all of my experiences with Gino and his Mom and Dad have been very positive. Plus, Gino builds some BADASS Victory customs. Won Baddest Bagger in Sturgis last year
over some much better known talents!!! If in the area, check them out!!!

Volusia Motorsports in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Bought my High-Ball there and use them to service the bike. Andy is a great guy and looks after his customers. Highly recommended - 5 stars.
I have to say shop around before you buy from here. I got a quote from him on a 2016 Cross Country, even did the whole "what would it take to buy today" sales game that I hate so much.

Andy gave me a price that he swore he could not go lower than, his kids would starve etc., seemed very sincere. I asked him to go about $800 lower and said I would buy right then. Nope couldn't do it.

Shopped the internet and got the exact same bike $3,000 less than his best offer.

Dealerships are in business to make money ... period.
Well yeah, but so what? Some businesses have different practices and standards than others. Obviously they are all there to make money, even charities are there to make money at the end of the day. The point is which dealer aligns best with what you are willing to accept so far as business practices go.

So far I have had a very good experience with Macuso Powersports 59 in Houston, TX. From sales to service I have not been disappointed. I have always felt like I have had a fair price on everything. And the sales staff and service departments are all very attentive.

SPIRIT MOTORCYCLES, SAN JOSE, CA. Spirit is an Indian and Victory dealership. They have treated me exceedingly well during all of my contacts with them. Very personable and attentive staff. Best shop I have experienced in many, many years.

My buddy just bought a 16 High Ball from a shop in Hyde Park, NY Zach's V-Twin Cycles....What a great place, its a little mom and pop owned place and by far the best Victory dealer I have ever been to. We ran down there to pick up the bike and it was hassle free. The owner Zack and his wife were awesome and extremely knowledgeable. I laughed because they still service Harley's , as a way for steady income because they always need work. Zach said on a few occasions he let a Harley rider test a Vic while their bike was being worked on and before the work was done the guy was wanting to trade it on a Vic. They also had a ton of Vic stuff, jackets, accessories, you name it. Nice to see a Victory shop with Victory things and not just a wall of Indian ****
