Sorry. Thanks for the compliements. Used a cross luggage rack, painted a slim case trunk to match. Mounted to the rack.
Could you provide some more pics of the case. A side view please and the source you got it from ? So you’re saying you used the lock and ride backrest with luggage rack ?

I settled on this pizza box as to not be like the HD brethren. Vicbaggers’ has one but so expensive. I’m all in with lock and ride rack from Lithuania for around $550. Including the led lights and tweeters that I added. I’m impressed at the quality of the box and the hardware being available in black gloss was a plus. It’s different looking than the norm so it does stand apart. It’s very light and my wife says it’s comfortable enough for long rides. Still she prefers the Vic L&R backrest over anything.

Incidentally…… the box alone with liner and black hardware was $200 The rack on eBay $300. Lights around $20 and PRV large tweeters around $50

I have the L&R backrest on my XC right now. But I also have the L&R trunk mount from VicBaggers just sitting and waiting for me to decide on what trunk to mount to it. I would like a trunk that has a backrest with armrests included. Found a few cheap Chinese knock offs, but hesitant on getting one cause the build quality is probably cheap also.

The search continues........

Sadly dont remember. Maybe hmd520 original model. It was the most difficult color match. 5 layer formula to match. Bolted to luggage rack.
Thanks for trying. I think I’m done spending money on these bikes regarding accessories…. lol not that there are any to buy.
I can actually get an 18” pizza box in this tour pack ! lol. I’m just gonna keep them running from here on out.

Seriously thinking the 112 PP Chieftain may be my last bike in a couple years from now when I find a garage princess.

Landed in Cañon city Colorado yesterday afternoon. Staying with a friend for the night. We drive truck cross country together in the 70’s and 80,s. And stayed in touch all these year. He’s pushing 79 now and god bless him doing great and looks pretty damn good I gotta say. Nice catching up. My 2 friends from Chicago till in this afternoon. The Mountain View is out his patio door a Beautiful are. 5 minutes from the Royal Gorge

Got out after church with my buddy Mark again for a ride around Mt. Hood. It’s called the fruit loop because the area around the town of Hood River is known for its apples and pears and a couple of wineries.
Mark calls our bikes “Spy vs Spy” from the cartoon from the 60’s.

This angle is from the east looking west from Hwy 35.
A couple riders pulled up to us just after this shot on a Hardley and a 2011 Cross Country Tour. The guys were about 35-40. The guy on the Harley says to his buddy who was riding Harley guys deceased fathers XC, “ I just turned 1,000 miles pulling in here with you on my dads bike and this is where we spread his ashes”.
