Greetings all,

I just upgraded my ride of ten years, a 1986 Honda Goldwing GL1200A, to a 2013 Victory Cross Road Classic with only 2200 miles. Although the bike is six years old, it's virtually brand new. It's a whole new type of ride and I'm loving it. Going to be spending lots of time here learning all about the Victorys. I've rented Harley's before, but have never been impressed. To me, all Harley's look the same, year after year. Same square saddle bags, no fairing, or faring attached to handle bar.

Well let your first mod be to get that freakin tank sticker off!!! Welcome and nice looking ride. Plenty of bling available to make it your own. Enjoy the ride.

@Roleketu Welcome to the forum! Congrats on the Cross Roads. I think you are going to enjoy that bike very much. As nimble as Wings are, you might find your new Cross even more fun to take corners with. Anyway, great looking ride! Enjoy.

The first Victory I've ever ridden was a CrossRoads on a demo ride in 2011. It's what set me on my path to buy a new bike in 2013...

Nice ride! A hair dryer and a little patience will get that sticker right off. You can clean up any glue that is left behind with a little WD40.

If you decide to remove the tank sticker waxed dental floss will saw through the adhesive (between the adhesive and the badge). Just make sure to have everything cleaned first.
If you keep it on there that's cool too.
Nice bike!

Nice ride, enjoy it. Welcome to the VOG, bunch of great folks on here, some nuts, but always helpful. Mine only has 46,800 more trouble free miles than yours, you have some catching up to do. Ride safe.
I'm not really "some nuts", I'm "all nuts", but thanks for the mention.

Took less than five minutes to completely remove the gas sticker. Including the adhesive. Hair dryer got the vinyl sticker, and "Goof Off" spray eliminated the adhesive in a flash. Then a quick reapplication of "F11 Topcoat".

I like the badge that's on the bike for the year it was made. There's a silver black oval that Victory only carries. Got it. Love it. The V badge is ok. My favorite is the hand painted Victory like on my wife's X1. That's clean.
