Not exactcly sure what you are askinga sfor a long rider. Thought I answered it pretty well. Perhaps my gift of messing up a thought kicked in.
How far can you go? Up to you, your tolerence, mental and physical condition. The XCT is exactly that. A Cross Country Touring Bike. After a couple of Ventures and a Goldwing, the only complaint is reliability. That seems to have worked itself out and I found out what I needed to know about the local dealer.
It is about as fine a rider as I've thrown a leg over. Easy to ride, easy to stay on, easy to manouver, just easy.
This is my first twin and first belt drive. That has been a learning curve. Electrical problems were the weak point, but seem to be corrected.
One person can ride 400 miles in a day and be spent, the next can ride the same bike 1000 and be ready for more. Hence the pic all the little things that aren't up to your comfort level.Stack the deck in your favor, so to speak. This is also the reason it is impossible to put a number out there for you. Fix the irritants, figure out how the bike is strong and weak, then put your own comfortable day on it.
      Hope this helps some.

      Cheers
