Hey new guy here. Had a question for the vision owners out there. I am in the market for a vision and came across this one in the link. Seems like a lot of miles to me but just not sure coming from a street bike background.

That's not even broke in yet. I have over 100k miles on my 2010 XR and I know of a kingpin that was over 150k miles. Neither engine or tranny have been touched on either bike.

I wouldn't worry about the miles too much. I would be looking at the maintenance records or lack of. A maintained machine is going to give you the best bang for the buck and theconfidence to ridean older bike (notthat it's that old).Go and look at it if it's possible. See the records of oil changes, receipts for work performed, condition of the rubber. My buddy has a Eight ball with 80K on it and it looks and runs better than new.My nephew is riding an 82 Honda silverwing and same story, well cared for machines that run like a Swiss watch. Everything is relative, a test ride at the dealer could give you some perspective forcomparisonif you don't know anyone with a VVwho could look at it with you. (assuming its close enough to drive to for you). Good luck on your potential purchase.

I think for the year it's high. The miles would not be concerning to me.

Welcome and good luck on your search for a Vision. As said its not a bad deal if its been taken care of. Do go see it and lay eyes on her too. Also check Cycle Trader for the Visions. They are out there and it is a good idea to research prices and what years go for what price. You will find what your looking for and have many great rides ahead of you....

The miles wouldn't bother me at all, but the price is definitely on the high side.

I'd sell you my 2011 at that price ($11,500).

You might want to check out different Victory sites to see if you can get a deal.

Bigfoot, I haveseen inanother postwhere you said $11,000 cash for yours. If you lived closer to where I could pick it up I would try to see what my bank could do for me. I'll just keep looking, one will turn up I'm sure.

Look at that list of add ons. Heated grips and seat are stock. Cruise is stock. Electrically adjustable windshield is stock. A loud exhaust and some bling may actually be add ons, but not the other things that are listed. With that in mind check out the bike itself. It may actually be worth book value if it has been well cared for.
