Lloyd is building a 129 cubic inch engine right now. Tell me how that is possible ?

Wife was not fond of the 116. She would really hate me if we tore it down and turned it into a 129.

129 cu. inches = 2.113 Liters (2113 cu. cm.)
That is 1 liter per cylinder.
The current Victory engine has a stroke of 108mm
Keeping the stroke the same, you would have to increase the diameter of the piston just over 1 centimeter to 111.6mm --- So we are talking totally unique built from scratch cylinders.

Other than that.....the engine must be stroked quite a bit.

Lloyd is a crazy guy.

LLoyd deals with S&S all the time it wouldn't be a big deal to build a cylinder or stroker crank. It may have both bore and stroke increased.
Stock is 101mm bore
The 110 is 103mm bore
The 116 is 105.5mm bore
The 122 is 107.9mm bore
The 129 is 111.5mm bore
No additional stroke

Being that the heads are designed to sit on a 101mm bore... I wonder how much room there is for a head gasket? Plenty of room for bigger valves though!!!

Lloyd has said that the heads can support 150 ish hp. maybe they don't need much work to handle this.
The stock heads/valve sizes might support 140 HP at best...

This is why Victory motorcycles don't make terrific low-end grunt. Heads that will support 140 HP are a little high flowing to make great low end on an 80 HP stock engine.

Harleys make good low-end grunt, but if you want to make real power you'll need serious headwork. It would be really hard to make 100 HP with stock HD heads.

What kind of torque do you think the 129 incher will put out if it's built by Lloyd and has ported heads, hotter cams, larger valves, and 9.8 compression ratio?

He says a bore of 4.390" , so 1120mm? stock stroke?

I'm excited about this and I want to see Lloyd build a 129" "package" if you will. Cams dedicated to it, port work dedicated to it, obviously the bore and piston size is dedicated already and I think Lloyd will shoot for 10.5-10.8:1 compression.

Case is gonna need to be cut to make it that big. There is plenty of room in the head gasket though. Dave from PMRT was breaking cases with 235hp in his supercharged drag bike; a couple years ago. Though they were based on a 92/5 engine. Lloydz Vision certainly seems to be staying together under that load. Must be better gusset ing in the 106 case

Interesting info ...
Keep that stuff comming.
