Dyno results with Freedom Duals

Had my Cross Country tuned today and figured I would share the results. Modifications are Lloyds high flow filter and Freedom Performance duals. Running a Dynojet PCV that I got from Fuel Motto with a base map for the above set up and boy it was close! Anyway final numbers after tuning were:

HP - 94.44

Torque - 112.70

Fuel Motto's map was a little rich in places and yielded - 92.13 HP and 110.52. Like I said, the folks at Fuel Motto almost had it to the penny. If they could account for our humidity here in Fl they may have been spot on.

I have no idea what the bike's numbers were stock, but fairly happy with the results. Bike runs awesome and the Freedom pipes sound incredible.

Stock you should've been close to 85hp and 100tq and running a pretty lean stock map at that. I suspect the further away from stock you get the harder it would be for a canned map to get that close. Once you get into cams, compression, big bore it probably becomes even more important to dyno or auto tune. A 10-12% increase in hp and tq...very nice!

Realistically, stock would be closer to 80/95 for most X-bikes.

100 ft-lbs by 2400 rpm is a pretty fat low end. Over 100 for a range of 2600 rpm wide. I had heard the Freedom pipes weren't great, but they seem pretty good from what he's posting...

I would imagine the bike feels dramaticallydifferent than it did stock.

I heard the Freedoms were not that good also, but no one ever posted any dyno results. Alot of hype about Victory head pipes w/cats...yadayada...

I really didn't care if they out perform anything. Liked the look, love the sound, and the biggest bonus, for Florida heat, no cats! Just tickled pink that the bike produced what it did with them. Will do cams and timing wheel down the road, but for now no more mods until the damn thing is paid for - which should be three more months - I hope.

Thanks for this post. Have Lloyd's timing wheel, VFCIII and air filter and just received my freedom true duals this week. Looking forward to the spring to install the pipes now even more so since your post.

The sound that the duals produce is by far the best sounding pipe I have heard so far. I had the Ness Big Honkers before switching to the duals and there is no comparison. The duals blow the honkers away!!
I would like to hear a sound comparision of the D&D wrapped boss slip on's and the Freedon true duals. Both of these exhaust sound great to me.

I agree 100 percent. I did the thrush mod to my stock mufflers. They sounded good but the freedom true duels sound way better. In my opinion they are defiantly the best choice of pipes.

I have seen and heard the D&D's and did not think that they sounded any better than the Honkers I had at the time. I will say that the Freedoms appearance and quality is much better than the D&D's.
Do the Freedom true duals on your bike sound even deeper at idle than the D&D ' wrapped' boss slip on's? How much sound do you hear from the Freedom true dualswhen riding at75-80 mph on a steady cruise? I was concerned that the steady rumble of the Freedom true duals would get tiresome listening to them on long road trips. This exhaust does sound sweet though.
When I watched this video of the Freedom true duals I was wonderinghow thesteady sound of this exhaust would be on extended road trips.

They have throatier idle. Probably because there are no cats?? Anyway at cruise all you will hear is a nice rumble. I can still hear the tunes without any problem. However, if you gun it the Freedoms will definitely alert EVERYONE of your presence!!

The videos/sound bites of these pipes do them no justice at all. You have to hear them in person!

If the Freedom true duals sound even deeper than this video in person ,thenI'm sure they sound awesome.
This is a video of my Cross Country tour with the Nascar6 mufflersthat havethe 2 1/2 inch baffles. This video wastaken from six feet behind the bike. Do the Freedom True dual sound this deep, or almost this deep at idle?
