The price is a bit better than the Russell. On the Ultimate the price is $525. The Russell will be between $520-$700. I do like the 30 day guarantee. I did read on the Russell website they'll refund your money up to 8 months as long as you give them 2 chances to adjust. The Ultimate can ship in 1-2 business days. I will need to wait on the Russell.
Do they offer Ultimate's that move you back some?
Decision getting harder.
I don't think you can get one that moves you back, call and ask, I found them very helpful.
Not being from the US I would also have to add shipping and duties to something coming across into Canada and then the exchange rate too, when I got my Ultimate the price was a bit less than that and in Canadian dollars so put all those thing together and it makes quite a difference. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples, I seem to remember when I had the Russell decked out the same as the Ultimate the Russell was closer to $900, plus shipping, etc...As for the adjustments, that is a good idea but more shipping costs and less riding time so not really an option for me.
I found both the Corbin and Mustang were way too hard for my tender behind!
You can get the Russell heated where the Ultimate is not heated.
Ultimate moves you up about an inch and forward maybe an inch.
Make sure to get the back rest with the Ultimate as I found it made a massive difference.
The Ultimate does rub on the inside of the tank, not a big deal as it is not seen.
I believe Russell had a "ride in" appointment where you could just ride there and they would measure you and do your seat right then. Of course for me that would be a 4 to 5 ride ride each way...hmm, I never thought of it that way, might be a good idea???
