The best way to make it sound like it has balls is to give it balls. Skip the pretending and do it right. Yes you may need to warm up a credit card, but 1200-1500 will easily get you intake-exhaust-fuel tuner and net you close to 20 more horsepower. I guarantee you will like it once you have it.

Agreed. Do it right the first time and you'll save money in the long run. Don't just go with those cheap, bad looking shorty pipes from Amazon. If you want that ballsy sound and keep great performance, I highly suggest spending the money on the Ground Pounders. There are tons of dyno charts that prove they put out strong numbers. I haven't gotten my bike tuned yet to be able to give numbers on mine, but if you're interested give me a shout!

Agreed mostly, however, Ground Pounders have an hourglass baffle to prevent that loss of power.
 
My input: Just ride and enjoy what you have....to a 2nd job, save money and (see my signature on VEGAS) do it right the first time...OH, then quit 2nd job and RIDE! :dance:
