Feedback wanted- I have a 2009 custom painted victory vision that has parts damage. I bought it back from the insurance company as they wanted to total it. Not with that custom paint job I said!!
I bought a new 2014 vision with the idea of putting the white metallic 2014 body parts on the 2009, making it 100% rideable and selling it. I just couldnt give up my custom painted parts.

Are there any other options out there? Would someone want to buy it as is and customize it themselves?

Sue-- Are you getting the '09 back with a 'salvage' title? If so, it may be very hard to sell. Also, do you have a comprehensive list of the damage, from an estimate, that you could show prospective buyers that one could compare to the bike to show which parts have (and have not) been replaced? Either way, don't expect to make much on the sale...

The option would be to take all the left over pieces and bike and part them out. It would take a lot of work but you'd make good money doing it.

Fix it up and advertise it as a 2011.5 model, splitting the model years..
