Question is, would you put 10k into your bike for upgrade and overhaul chassis? Or buy a used bike for same price? No big bore.
Some really low bikes out there. I've also wondered the same, then you gotta think. Fuel pump, electronics, computer, injectors, brake lines, sensors, gauges and whatever else to get 7+ years of reliability out of them. Fukin Polaris! There's a fork in the road we are all facing and it sucks!
The unfortunate counterpoint and Elephant in the room. I think about this all the time. That said, I'm still of the mind set to keep it. Here's the thing... At this point in my life I will be lucky to have one more new bike in me. At this point I don't want the Challenger to be that bike.

Spending money on a bike is fine because when it's done right it's better than a new bike. No one does it and goes oh I wish I had a new bone stock bike instead. No chance!

@primethious True. I know myself too well, though. If I'm gonna do this, I will save up, wait for @Vicbuilder to get resettled and then just do it. If it takes a year for Rylan to get set up again, that's cool. I'm in no hurry. I'll just keep riding.

I'm with ya!
It'll take saving or buying stuff ahead of time for me. $6,500 all at once is a chunk.
My clutch should hold to the hp...same setup as Half Crazy so savings there...hopefully.
