Imo the stock oval badges with all the color look best on that bike. If it came on that year then I'd still be proud to have them. Seems most want to get rid of the Polaris name on the badge. Why ? Polaris built these bikes. Don't hold all accountable for what a few top brass dumb thinkers decided to do. Axe Victory.

I’ve never had badges on my Kingpin. My paint was a factory option / upgrade and it came without badges. I like the clean look. So much that I replaced the cam and derby covers with Conquest finned units. I even replaced the cheese wedge badges with custom pieces from a company called Barracuda. Now the only printed name on my bike, anywhere, is mine. I kinda dig how a fellow Victory rider instantly recognizes another Kingpin. Otherwise it’s a conversation piece. Can’t even guess at how many times strangers want to stop and ask me about my bike while my Harley and BMW buddies just have to watch, green with envy. The best was one time out for dinner when a little hot blonde wanted to ask me 20 questions about the most beautiful “hog” she’d ever seen. They got fed up and left. About fifteen minutes later I passed them on the road, with the hot little blonde on the back.

Badges? Badges? We don’t need no stinking badges!

...this happens to me too... Victory's (the Kp in particular) have such great lines...

but thavision is growing on me
The Vision has is similar lines, designed by the same guy, in that is has those smooth running lines that run from tip to tail. Everything seems to blend together. And it does attract a LOT of attention, but from a different crowd. Old guys that haven't ridden for years seem to loose that 'biker bravado' where anything but a black HD must be ignored. These old guys want to know everything about it. Old lady's totally dig it to. As do young people. The funny thing about the Kingpin is it seems to attract attention mostly from ladies. While Mr. Tough Guy in his leather vest and tats is saying , "nice bike but it ain't a Harley" his wife is there saying, "OMG Hank look at this bike! Isn't that the coolest bike you've ever seen!" Meanwhile I just smile and think to myself, "Why yes, it is a nice bike, it in fact is not a Harley, and it is the coolest bike I have ever seen".
