I have a set of Krator 5.5 " risers for the 07 KingPin. Problem I'm having is when I thread in a bolt to the risers the bolt fits loose in the triple tree mount. I might add the stock bars are a snug fit in the rubber mounts with minimal movement.Anyone come across this issue with these or other risers? I was thinking of doing one of two things , wrap the bolt with brass shimming and insert through the rubber mounts of the triple tree or two try to find a set of solid mount inserts to replace the rubber type. Suggestions , ideas?
Thanks

Not sure if metric or sae but bolts not too long , diameter is smaller than the stock stud . Stock setup has stud and nut.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding but from what I read, it sounds like the bolts to the new risers are smaller diameter than the OEM and there's more play in the triple-tree mounting holes than you like. Depending on how much play you have, you may be able to do a few things. Look for a shoulder bolt which is only threaded part way if it's already pretty close. Another option would be chassis bushings. Also consider recoil inserts or just inserts (similar to chassis bushings). Helps to know the sizes you're working with. You can go cheap with a couple o-rings to keep them centered while you torque them down. I think the best option would be a couple of chassis bushings such as in this photo. I'm sure you can find the proper sizes if you search enough. Maybe a short length of PVC tubing would work as well, just some ideas.

Thanks I was thinking the same with your suggestions. When I loosened and tightened the stock risers I found they could easily be installed crooked and they have stock bolts, so perhaps just something to line them up more centered will work. What I know will work are some dowels like what Harley's have for their primary covers and gearbox covers, there seated in the case and the cover lines up over them, in fact cylinder jugs use the same but are bigger and perhaps just the right size.
