Well to coin a phrase from a young school girl from Finland or somewhere ..... "HOW DARE YOU!!!!"

Hmmmmm. These types have existed in all groups of different bikes and styles.
Ive seen Goldwingers act the out with attitude and BMW guys .....? well sh!t ! They could be labeled as the worst. Not all mind you but we have heard the stories. I’m actually surprised to hear it from metric cruiser types but I get it as I too have given up on subscription magazines that advertise way more than provide good content. One comes to mind
“Baggers “ I thought that rag covered all baggers. Seemed HD got the majority of the content which I got tired of looking at. Big wheeled fancy painted show bikes that will never see sunrise to sunset riding. Every month was so repetitious. I saved only the few copies pertaining to an article or 2 about Victory cross and Magnum bikes.

Doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride, right?

IDK. Some people just shouldn't ride. But yeah your choice in bikes is personal like choosing a car or a truck or a boat. Who is anyone to judge ones preference. Motorcycling has come too far for anyone to still throw that kind of crap around. Believe me no one cares what you ride. Just don't pose and try and be something your not.

I kinda shake my head every time I see something like this. NO BIKES SUCK. There are bikes out there that may not work for me, or that I really don't like. That doesn't mean the bike sucks. It just doesn't work for me! I have been guilty of this in the past, saying something sucks just because I may not like it. I am working hard to stop that behavior.

Doesn't matter what you ride. If you are on 2 wheels, that is A-OK with me! Love what you ride, ride what you love. Doesn't matter what I think.

I have a confession.
I only bought my Victory over a SG back in 2011 because I’m a cheap bastard. I wanted the SG and I was buying it. The price difference was almost $5k. The Victory looked good and performed well. I Knew it would grow on me but it was the $5k. Took me a week to make a decision. I was going thru the koolaid spell where I thought everything else sucked but a Harley. I was never this way just peer pressure and a lousy choice of friends at the time. Well HD doesn’t suck either and who knew I was going to be on this Victory this long. No bike sucks but to many a rider / poser/ wanna be / a hole / everything else sucks when in fact the individual sucks.

I've been there. I have tried to buy an FJR four different times and never got the job done. The first and most critical time was because... I was being a cheap Bastard! But that is how I ended up with the GSX. So sometimes bein a cheap Bastard actually pays off. And if yer wondering, I still want the FJR! But again, because I am a cheap Bastard, I bought the Trophy, which is delivering more value and joy than I can possibly count. I guess some things just aren't meant to be. The FJR 1300... The coolest bike I'l never own.

This a really cool thread.... I have just found out that there are other bikes out there as well as XCT's, what an eye opener.... I have a saying here that when a Harley pulls alongside you at a stop, your brain is just screaming, "why the hell don't you get a bike, mate", but being the passive Victory "BIKE" rider that I am, I just sit there waiting for the lights to change and smirk as I watch him in my rear view mirrors.....
