I think I saw somewhere that you can buy an extension for the kickstand. But don't quote me on that cuz I'm not positive. Good hunting.

Try Witchdoctor.. http://buywitchdoctors.com/index.html?category_id=167&global=yes&search=kickstand+extension

That is correct we dont offer a longer kickstand. If you tell me how much longer your looking for we can make it. The problem for you is the chrome and right now that would be about 6 weeks. The kickstand extension is in fact so that when the kickstand is up you can find it with your foot easier. Somewhere I posted a video on how to install it. As far as I know no other kickstands will work, Harley, Honda etc. Right now they are on BO and we should have more at the end of the month. We buy stock Victory stands and modify them. We have had 55 on order for more than a month.I hope they finally come in! We are also looking at building them ourselves as to be able to meet the demand of our customers.

I have a 2011 XC about a year and a half old and it has a stock kick stand on it. Here lately I have noticed it is becoming very hard to get it off the stand and upright and if there is just a small more lean because of the grade it is not a one man job any more. I don't have this problem at all with my 03' HD EG. I had the bike to the dealer for some cruise control warranty work and compared the lean of mine to another XC and it leans way more. The dealer is going to order me a new kick stand. It looks to me as if it is bent because it can't support the weight of the bike and or me stepping on the left floor board as I mount the bike, I weigh about 200 lbs. Looks like I may be waiting a while for this part if they are on BO and the Witchdoctor has 50 ordered. I'm planing a 6k mile trip to Newfoundland in July and with the bike loaded down with my camping gear and stuff this could turn in to a real problem for me. I am wondering has any one else had this problem and will a new stand fix this, or is there any modifications that may work to get the bike more upright.

For those who have a hard time getting the bike up off the kick stand, try this little trick.

Turn the front tire all the way to the right and it will lift upten times easier.

The rubber was missing on the kick stand, so I drilled out he rivets and added a 1/2 thick piece of hard rubber to the rubber & metal piece that hits the primary cover. It Helped a little. I need to pop the stand off and straighten it.

My kickstand is bent from shipping from Texas to California. They strapped it down on the kickstand, and I guess all that bouncing bent it..
I pulled my kickstand this weekend using the "dimes in the spring" method. Whacked it a few times with a mini sledge hammer and straightened the kickstand. (If I had access to a press that would have been the preferred method). It's now much easier to get it off the stand.
