Where is everyone? Either everyone is busy riding or with everyday life. Anyone got any stories to tell or pictures to share. Surely some cool rides out there with the leaves changing colors, or perhaps some secret mods being done? Can you tell I am bored offshore and ready to get home. I have great plans instore for the ole girl. I have listed everything already but half of them won't happen until mid Nov.

No shocker here, just debating if I'm going to go with the PCV, PCV/AUTO TUNE, or stay as is (with a dyno in there some where)? Do you have pics of the green wheels?

Not yet, all my stuff is waiting at home. My bike has been in the local Victory shop since August. I have been waiting for a gas tank to come in. Nephew laid it down when we were up on the dragon I will post pic's next couple of weeks though

Ouch!

My scoot is just waiting on me to find some time and decent enough weather. I'm planning on getting her out until the first icing or snow when they salt the roads. Then no more till spring just because the crap they spread down here is so corrosive it'll rot any vehicle.

Got a new large lock and ride windshield and some old used mounting brackets with old chrome that I'm going to plasti-dip all the chrome parts black. Should be a fun project. Then I can't wait to mount it up finally and see how it feels on the road. Granted I love to run raw on the High-Ball, I'm anxious to see how cold weather riding goes with the screen. Gotta break down and find some chaps also to take the bite off the wind.

Gotta figure out what to do with the seat also... I'm still on the ropes between a corbin solo if it'll fit the vic passenger seat I have so I can slap a sissybar bag on it, or dual tour, which is probably superior for comfort but I think looks a bit out of place on a high-ball bobber.

Considering as well a penske shock.. $$$ As a means to 1) add superior suspension and 2) play with the height just slightly.. In which case I'm thinking go ahead and relocate the fender harness away from center-tire regardless for peace of mind even if only dropping it 1/2" or so.

But still a die-hard High-Ball fan.. I did get a quote on a new Hard-Ball with trade. I was shocked so much I committed at that point to ride this High-Ball for years to come unless a Hard-Baller wanted to trade.. Yeah right hold yer breath. Ya never know.. Not everyone is into the tour-bike feel. I much rather have the High-Ball seat geometry, but those bags are killer and the Hard-Ball is simply way cool. Hate hate hate that Vic dropped it.

Also "Captn" I assume you're off-shore in the service. Thank you very much for that Sir.

i'm still here.... waiting for our first aplication of road salt... then i'll stop ridin 'er.... till then... i'm sinking all money i can into gas! lol

i washoping to pull the rims apart and get the hub and the rim powder coated red this winter along with new skins for them... but we'll see... maybe next set...

i was also thinking of doing a kingpin rear fender replacement and cross bag conversion, but looks like i might not need to... i let the old lady take it around for a rip, told her to come on to it, if she felt comfertable to do so, so i can hearwhat it sounds like when i'm not on the bike.... bad idea!!! looks like i'll be shoping for a new bike, possibly a CC (left over Antifreeze greens somewhere...meat hook apes.... hmmm),and giving her the High ball! lol

Mine is stock with a straight stage-one from Vic. That's the way I love her and it's the way she's gonna stay for the next few years. Would I do stuff if I had serious money to put in her, perhaps. One thing for sure the power is as satisfying today as it was when I got her over 40 000km ago. I just can't get bored with this baby. Again slightly over 20 000km this riding season. If I could, I would put much more on her but it's already way more than most people.

Enjoy your baby.

I feel sorry for you northern guys who have to deal with salt and snow. My only limits to riding are being gone 1/2 a year, but I still manage to get in allot of riding during the half that I am home. I love the highball for what it is and I can't wait to get mine all tricked out. I might name it the gambler, I'll be going with that theme with the derby/cam covers and cheese wedge badges. Found a place to make a dice key for ignition to match the valve stem caps, it should be bad a$$ when finish. It will haul butt and look good when parked. I have plans to airbrush the original tank once repaired either a skeleton riding a highball through a boatyard scene or continue with the gambling theme. but that is way down the road.

I just shot an email over to get the conversation going.. I'm open to the idea, but after already having this seat modded with memory foam, I'm to the point I'd want the thing completely re-foamed with a hard "corbin-like" foam, shaped CORRECTLY so it doesn't feel like you're sitting on a wash bucket turned on its side with all the pressure in the tailbone. I imagine what I'd want done won't be cheap by a long shot.. It'd probably require a new cover also as the shape would be so different from stock 2x4 mated with a pringles potato chip. :)

LOL. i HATED the orignal shape! lucky for me,i have a big ass, so the seat never got to my tailbone, but what it did do is cram every stitch of my jeansso far up my arse crackthati spent every minute of the "pull over break" pulling out the worldslargest weggy! what i had them do was reshape it to form a "sadle" shape, concave rather than being almost convex. add a 10lb memory foam then a 5lb memory foam andjust for good measures, cause it was free, a tailbone groove. i can nowgo tank to tankmultiple times withno issues.

hi, my name is lmn2k and i have been weggy free for almost 6months now!

I had a tornado knock mine over, I got lucky and the end of the hand grip and foot peg took thebrunt of thedamage. Still cost me $300 in parts to get rid of the damage.I was lucky and it still had the stock exhaust which also took the damage. It could have been much more expensive.

I had mostly scrapes and scratches typical on laying one on it's side. Insurance was really good. I figured they would repair/paint the tank and fork tube but they paid for all new parts. Forks are perfectly good just few scratches. I plan to trade them to a friend for the airbrush work I want on the tank. counting all the parts estimate was 5100

I have to ask, how much was the tank?

LOL!!!!!! Though not quite the same problem.. Yes, to me the seat is a tail-bone killer.

The thing is shaped all wrong. I agree.. Needs a much more concave shape from left-right and front-back, without the sudden bump stop seam and back-side.

Got a reply back already from Mean Cycles. I'll be talking to them more about it for sure and get the seat off to them maybe and take a chance. I'll read up for reviews.. I imagine they're all stellar.

1400.00, the original tank has no dents just minor scratches right over the Victory Badge. I was told they just replace the tanks, so I am gonna sand it down paint it all matte black and let my friend have free reign on it. He is happy he is getting nearly new 1000 dollar forks. I have found out one thing with this wreck, Victory parts cost a pretty penny. But so do HD parts
