Go figure - I just went out for a short ride to cool off and passed a Vision not two blocks from my house! I was so shocked, I forgot to wave

Sorry whoever you were!

Since I have owned my XCT, it seems like I never come across another Victory rider on the road. Then out of the blue - I saw 2 in 2 days! 10:30AM this past Sunday, I passed a red Vision heading westbound on I-290 in Illinois near Rt 53.. Last night I passed a 2013 CC heading northbound on Nessler Road near Elgin. Was that you?!?!?! It was the new blacked out Sunset Red
I saw that you live in Elgin, IL. I lived on Hawkins Street until I was 10 years old and then moved to "God's country" where Victory's are plentiful and riders wear smiles instead of tool belts. We have 3 Victory's here in my little neighborhood that I know of. I think there are only about 3 Harley's and couple of crotch rockets as well.

That's only a matter of a few blocks away from where I live. Lucky you, you are in NC. I will be there on my Vic at the end of June. A friend of mine is going to a BMW rally at the Biltmore and I anm riding with. I can't wait.

Took my HD Sporty for a ride last night and actually saw a Hardball with a fairing at an intersection. When riding alone on my Victory I have yet to see another Vic rider. Of course I've only been looking for the past 2 months since I got my Vic so I'm sure I'll start noticing more of them, especially now that the warm weather is here.

A good buddy has talked me into a BMW International rally in Salem Oregon, and I know those German bikers will be drooling over my cool American cruiser/touring XCT because my ass won't be sore like theirs after a long trip.

Even though there is a dealer 20 minutes from me and being a smaller market he seems to sell a fair number of bikes. In spite of that I've only seen two Vics this past year. A black XCT last year while I was still waiting, researching, and scheming to get mine and just yesterday on a ride with my wife. I stopped to fill up the tank and I saw a guy roll by on Route 2 in New Martinsville on a Kingpin. I actually got pretty excited about that.

I saw a blue CCT and a white Vision space-ship about a minute apart from each other.
It pissed me off that I was driving my truck and not my bike.

I'm still very much a newby (picked up my 2014 Cross Country in Hazard KY on Mar 3) and yesterday was the 1st time I saw another Victory on my local roads. I live in North Central West Virginia.

Victory is really quite new in France. I've only seen two in the region that I live in. What I find happens a lot is that people stand and stare when evern I'm out on a ride. Yesterday evening a guy pulled up at the traffic lights in a car and said (in French) is it a Honda? I said "no a Victory from the United States" he smiled and gave a thumbs up. There just doesn't seem to be anything else like them on the road. When I lived in England I used to watch Biker Build Off on the Discovery Channel. To me the Cross Counrty looks like the kind of bike that one might see on that programme, it's so different.

Come to CT tomorrow around 1130am.....there will be one more Vic buzzing around. :D

I saw the two of my bikes yesterday... in storage that is.
Looking for more of these good times this summer...
