The red and black factory option is the Daytripper version. It's a good seat but not as comfy as the vintage style.
Go on line to Mustang and you can see the differences between the two.
Especially the part that sityou back up against the seat. If there's a slot for a rider backrest then it may be a good choice. Other wise you need a good rack behind you to layback against on those long hauls

Check out Mean City Cycles. They have several options options on re-building your existing seat.
I had mine done on my 8Ball - although it was a solo seat, and the difference was amazing.
They do great work and have great customer service.

What's you option of the seat? Looks fantastic and I like the seat lines. I don't want too low of a seat. I am 6'2 and like the height of the stocker.
I'm also 6'2". Height is fine. My only issue is that it sits me 1.5" forward from where my stock Magnum seat was. I got used to the extra 1.5" of leg room, then I got the Mustang so my wife would be more comfortable. It is a comfortable seat, I just wish I had that inch and a half back!

I believe the Mustang seat is the same, or very close to the same as the stock XC seat as far as leg room goes. It may be a little lower than the XC seat, but not by much. It sits higher than my Magnum seat does.
