Greetings,

I am looking at a 2012 XCT (2012 Victory Motorcycles® Cross Country Tour 003056 | Road Track & Trail).
I can buy this as is (less than advertised), however, they advised me it needs a clutch and throw out bearing.
I have changed clutch discs before on other bikes, but the "throw out bearing" is throwing me off. Would someone mind confirming which bearing is the throw out bearing for a 106? Is it #3 in this diagram?

Thanks in advance,

Can you hear it run before buying, how are they sure it needs those parts & only those parts, did they remove the primary cover to verify? I know, great questions right & if you had those answers you wouldn’t be here asking these questions 🤣 we are so fortunate to have Jmstang, nhkingpin, rylan & corey to seek assistance from. Oh yea I forgot, what did you do to the bike last, how many miles, what year, what’s your dob, you ssi number & ur mothers maiden name & most importantly what oil did they use 😆 good luck, it’s a vic so unless they completely abused & neglected the bike….it shouldn’t be that difficult to repair.

Greetings,
Thanks @lou8700 , yes, that does make more sense. Thank you taking a moment to look.
@Bikesofbrads. Yes, I heard it run. It sounded good. It did shift from N to 1 or 2. I do not know if they had opened her up. It did not have a dangly piece under the left side cover, however, there was a braided cable running from the engine area past the clutch cable to under the seat. Am thinking that was a PCV. No extra thick gasket on the right engine cover, so probably not a Lloyds TW. It did have VICTORY performance pipes (tri-ovals?). The front fender is buggered up, and loose. Not sure what that was all about. Forks LOOKED straight. A worn out darkside on the rear Everything else looked good. Did have the GuardDawg keyless system. That threw me when I first reached for the key and there was just a hole in the cheese wedge. Flipping the kill switch on and off was all that was needed.
As for your other questions, 2012 with 43K miles and I think there was a Crisco label somewhere. Finally, the PO never gave her a bath. She was a dirty girl...
All that said, I am still thinking about it.

My 2012 Gloss Pearl White CCT has been 100% flawless. I’d never let it go anywhere near that price and mine has over double that mileage. Run to it, treat it right and you’ll be rewarded by an absolutely amazing motorcycle.

Then at some point get yourself a Hard-Ball so you have the most awesome salt & pepper set available anywhere from any manufacturer.
