A lot of doom and gloom over the 2017 model year on this forum. Polaris red headed step child since the aquisiton of Indian? It's true that's it's disappointing that the Vision and Cross bikes haven't been upgraded in years.
Some have said since the Vision hasn't been upgraded that means it's being discontinued. Really? Why have a 2017 model if you're planning on discontinuing it? That just doesn't make sense.
The Cross bikes. Maybe Polaris views the Magnun and Magnum x-1 upgrades? It's true much can be done to refine and improve the models. Integrating the cruise control for sure.
Polaris has put a lot of money into racing and advertising the Victory to shut down and just go with the Indian. I think the Octane was a good compliment to the line, unfortunately it was way over hyped.
While it's true the Indians popularity may surpass Victory the brand is still viable and together with Indian will continue ue to gain market share. I hope for more in the future from Victory but in no way do I believe that the brand has run its course.
