Heres my setup and concern. 2012 CCT, VFC3, Timing Wheel, and Stage 1 well I think so anyway. When I oedered the stage 1 from my dealer I was asked if I would like to save $200 and get aftermarket non vic pipes. I said yes. I've dealt with the backfiring and popping since this was installed. I purchased the VFC3 to increase performance but I am using it to minimize the pops and snaps. I'm now questioning the whole stage 1 purchase. Since the pipes did not get ordered, did the appropriate download for the map get used? I found that the pipes got modified locally so no testing and no idea how the map should be moded to compliment the pipes I'm sure sound was the deciding factor. I read all over that victory bikes just pop and backfire and thats just how they are. I dont believe that for a second. I also own a 07 Vegas 8 ball with stage 1 and slash cut no baffle ehaust. This bike RUNS there are no pops or bangs. There is no so called lean stall. I'm told that vics dont like the throttle to be BLIPPED. According to my vegas thats not true. I think that if one can do it they all should be able to have similar performance.
So, all that being said, did I get took on the stage 1? would the vic designed pipes and download eliminate the issues I'm having?
