Now that I have your attention,
Looking for a Vision, good from the seat forward or a whole bike that needs help.

Also looking for a X Country from the tank back or needs help.

then will add a 116 or maybe convince Lloyd to build a 129 for me no super.....

I'm sure Lloyd isn't just building a one off 129.

Make a cubic dollar donation and I'm sure he'll oblige.
. Might not have to be just one ........ ;)

Pope, You got to be kidding really a 129 Hammmmmmer! Hyperspace are a subtle twist of a wrist?

I wonder if we can get a group discount?

I have located a Vision, and have a couple of leads on a X bike. One is a blue XCT the other looks to be a Magnum or maybe just a X bike. Bids on both. Just looked at a PM on a CC that hold promise too.

Thanks to all who have helped the cause. I will keep you posted.

So you're not going to use your XCT for the project.
Nope I plan to get another XCT and keep ole Blue just to prove to Lloyd that AMSOIL will make a Vic engine last longer than 60K miles. Oops I have 64,000+ and counting.

I was at the shop yesterday .... Brought the bike in for some service ( needed new clutch due to me frying it at the track last friday .....but that's another story .... )
He knows it was always my intent to bring it back at season's end ...to upgrade the bottom ..... But it was subtly suggested I might be interested in the new larger pistons ....
We will see .....

What!!!
You must be adding some sand to that oil. Or it would be to slippery!! LOL

Your going to build a Ness Vision with the XCT rear end..... Right?
Who is the youngest Ness to join the Co. .? Max

That is the plan. change the picture a bit, would like to use the Vision trunk bottom to mount the XCT trunk this way I can use the bag filler strips.

Colors:
Illusion Blue (Of course) and around the engine following the line back to the bags Cream Something like a 50 Vette. Maybe the tank top Cream too.
Saddle tan seat from RDL and we're good to go.

Bigger pistons! I thought you had a pretty big set already.

Follow the motto " Can't leave well enough alone" and if a little is good. a lot is better, Excess should be just about right..... A bigger set are definitely in order.

Cheers

PS Say Hi to the beautiful Dark hair girl for me.

Cheers

So looking at this project, the back bones look like they can be swapped, as long as you take all the rest of the associated stuff with them.

The Vision front end has a better geometry than the XC bikes, easier to turn according to Scott K of Conquest Customs.

I have found a Vision that has been wrecked and need to talk to Mr Wizzard about the terms and when I can pick it up.

From there the designing begins

Almost forgot there is the issue of bigger pistons and insta-tune.....a 129 hybrid Jedi Touring truck. Millennium Falcon?

Can't wait to see it.
I think that idea has the best of both worlds.
Will be a very cool project.

One thing I have notices on the Bat wing X bikes is a tendency for front end float at higher speeds and cross winds do steer the bike around a bunch. The Vizzzzzion doesn't seem to have those issues. Would have bought a Vizzzzzzion if the trunk and bags could actually store stuff.

I also like the power windshield in the V bike.
