Does anyone what the stock length of the pivot link is? I am thinking my bike may have been lowered
Xct’s stock link is 12 inches from center of eyelet to center of eyelet, each 1/2 inch over / under equals 1 full inch height, you can check wd's or any others sites ( esp johns videos ) for your particular bike

My experience has been that if your Vision is lowered and you hit a nasty bump, it's the swingarm that comes in contact with the bottom of the saddlebags and can crack them. If you are not putting enough air in the shock or more load than the shock is designed for, this can happen. There are saddlebag inserts that can be used to repair the damaged bags and also give more clearance for them underneath.

Sucks but hopefully the bags can be repaired.
Seems a design flaw to allow that to happen. Bags in too close?

I remember seeing threads about it here & the census was just as stated above, that, if you go too low on a vision, not run enough shock air pressure ( esp when overloaded) it will get into the bag & the fix was to do that fix blpe mentioned. If you’re really spiffy with glassing you can better mold a more custom yet functional look. Is a great consideration for vision owners not to go too low.

I had the shock link break while two up heading outa town that didn't cause any damage. i replaced it with a stock length link that a feller on here was getting rid of having replaced it with a lowering link. I usually run on the higher end of psi. allowable 50-65.
