Nah now that i have seat heaters and grips i can ride almost all year. As long as the snow isnt deeper than 3"

Oh yeah, the pipes look sick, Ill bet they are nice and loud too !

Does anyone out there have any experience with similar setups and the heat wrap? Does it really run cooler?

We have been running similar heat wraps on the cars for a long time. To keep the heat in the pipe and out the end. It works remarkably well, .....until they get wet ! then they deteriorate very rapidly.

I did use them on cars before I could afford ceramic coated ones, but how is the temp on your legs compared to a standard heat shield?

Much better, It does get hot but it wont melt your leg if you bump it while stopped at a light.

I went with the ceramic coating insidewhen I got my new pipes last year cause I didn't wont the heat shield look. Now i'm kinda rethinking it, about the wrap look. You can leaveyour hand on the pipe longer thus gettin the heat away from the motor better. Help withhp. also.
