I have a 2016 cc that I have been riding for one year. I can only afford 1 upgrade this winter. What is better to do. New exhaust I am thinking ragin cajun (just cause I personally like the sound from what I have read and heard online) . Or a keyless ignition. Everything I have read sounds like digital guard dog is the way to go.

Keep in mind I am still in warrenty and don't want to void it.

Thanks

New exhaust I've had an XC and a Magnum that was the first thing that was done to both get rid of sewing machine sound I want to do keyless but the performance mods like cams air filter maximus tuner torque compansator mod all came first still haven't got the keyless yet it's on the list

Go for the pipes... And think about just relocating ignition. Otherwise you still need keys for gas cap, saddle bags, trunk, etc. Also you lose the accessory option on the key.
I have the DGD on my Jackpot and have had zero problems, but when it came to the XCT, couldn't see the advantage there. relocated ignition down below the seat and I'm happy.

Was the DGD install pretty easy to do ? I've been considering it on my magnum since I've done all the performance mods. Although B.B. kit is in the near future. I would add a twist off gas cap as well.

You don't have to loose it, I didnt... Th e DGD has a spare wire on it thst is for the accessory switch. What I did was used the key just for that purpose, the bike will not start but I can still put the key in the key hole and turn it on and have the radio etc. anything that normally runs from the accessory position....

THat wire came with it or purchased separately? I was wondering if you wanted to play radio while the bike was not turned on all the way if it could be done. I see they also sell an Aux cable of some type, is it needed ?

That's what we all say................. then the plastic card comes out of pocket.

Another vote for pipes. I have Ragin Cajun pipes on both of my bikes.
The sound and the performance is palpable.

I would do pipes first, but $179 for tri ovals is more than fair leaving money for your Keyless

Tri ovals over ragin Cajun. I have heard positive for both. Last time I checked(when victory had there big sale on) they were all sold out. I will check agaipmn see if they have any more.
Love my Tri's, but I don't want obnoxious. Nice at cruise, but definitely can hear them when you whack the throttle.

All of my buddies ride with Tri Ovals. I like the sound of them but like my pipes to come out back a little more. Matter of taste, really.
