Hey all I would like to say I'm loving riding me 2011 CR so much. And the more I ride it the better it gets. Today I rode to my favorite Coffee place called the Coffee Shoppe in old town Portsmouth. And all the engine noise I useually get was gone and all I could hear was the wonderful exhaust note all in all a pleasent morning.

Almost 300 on mine yesterday down the Cape & I almost beat the rain home - soaked in the last mile!! Brings me up to a little over 1,500 on mine & I was just thinking the same thing

I'm pullin in on 5K too. The engine has never been really noisy, but the thing is starting to come alive. First bike I ever had that there was a noticable gain with break in.
Maybe I'm just getting used to the thing, but my stoy is it is better. LOL

I know what you mean it's a long break in but well worth it.

my 2012 did get sweeter arout 600 miles.
