Given that US Virgin Islands law requires all firearms to be registered with the VIPD, confiscation/seizure of such weapons becomes much easier than in a state like The Commonwealth of Kentucky where we enthusiastically exercise our right to keep and bear arms in the absence of such a registry. Some of us even keep and arm bears, but that's a totally different issue.
