I've been reading a lot about Lloyds timing wheel and finally decided to take the plunge and order the wheel. I checked the Lloyds web site but they were out of stock so I checked with Witchdoctor and they had them in stock and at the same price as Lloyds. I placed the order and received the wheel last Friday. I finally got around to installing the wheel this past Monday, which by the way, was extremely easy. My bike is completely stock so I wasn't expecting a huge improvement in horsepower etc but what I was looking for was an improvement in the low end acceleration from a dead stop. I've always thought the Vic was a little flat off the line compared to other bikes I've owned even though I've been pleased with the overall performance of the Vic. Well, what can I say. This is probably the best performance upgrade you can make to a stock engine to improve acceleration and overall drive-ability. The bike pulls nicely off the line and has a noticeable increase of power across the power band. It is also noticeably smoother while at cruising speed.
I will also mention that I have never dealt with Witchdoctor Inc. before but I would not hesitate to give them my business in the future. Not only was the order processed and shipped in a timely manner and at a fair price but I just received a followup phone call from a nice young lady from Witchdoctor. She was inquiring if I was satisfied with the product and their service and if I had any suggestions to improve their service or product line. I explained I don't add a lot of chrome doo dads etc. so I probably couldn't help her much but I did appreciate the followup call as it does show concern for their customers.
