Three long bike-less years.
Had to sell my Vegas to fund a second cross-country move in 3 years, and it took a lot longer to get our new lives on track than anticipated.
Mrs. Waynerd kept her bike. I knew if we sold her Honda, we'd probably never replace it. Life often gets in the way of things like that, and I really wanted to keep her riding.
My second Vic, my first bagger. (Damn! Those things are easy to get used to!!)
To be perfectly honest, the Classic was not my first choice. I had my heart set on a Hardball, but just couldn't find the right deal.
Water under the bridge--I freakin' LOVE this CR Classic!!!
I had pretty much forgotten just how ergonomically perfect Victory bikes are for me. So much stock gear (bars, grips, seat, etc) is exactly how I want it, right out of the factory.
I'll be doing the Lloydz 'beginner set' along with air filter, heel shift and probably paint the chin side fairings. Other than that, this thing is perfect.
