Hey guys,

I recently converted my 05 hammer over to a hydraulic clutch and I'm pretty sure I've bled all the air out of the system. When I pull the lever the actuating rod only pulls back a little and doesn't actually pull back enough to engage the clutch....any ideas as to why this is happening?

You need to bleed the system untl no bubbles come out. Be sure to keep the reservoir full.
I prefer the cable clutch over hydraulic. I traded a Kawasaki nomad on my cct and really like the cable clutch.

I'll see if I can find the installation guide at home but there was a spec for the movement. It's not much...only a few mm IIRC.

Are you sure the system is completly bled and filled? Also, the rod doesn't move much. Have you tried putting the bike in gear with the ignition off and then pulling in the clutch to see if it disengages?
