I also have P.M.S. (parked motorcycle syndrome)this winter non riding season has been especially difficult! only a few months more to go... sigh.
I'm suffering too, luckily, past few years in S.E. Ohio we've gotten 1 ridable day per winter month. We're seriously considering buying an enclosed trailer so can run couple states south over a long weekend, I ride a quad too but it's just not the samethis winter non riding season has been especially difficult! only a few months more to go... sigh.
You can always rent a u haul enclosed pretty reasonable. I was considering doing this last week as warm temps were predicted. I really wanted to go to the LBL (Land between the Lakes in western KY) Unfortunately rains were also predicted and happened. Same thing happened in SW OH for entire week, rained some 8 straight days. Found 3 hours of dry roads on Dec. 27 at 3pm. Better than nothing I guess.I'm suffering too, luckily, past few years in S.E. We have only had about 2 inches total for this winter. I guess this storm Landen is going to change that. Prediction for us is rain and then cold that will freeze the rain, followed by 8 to 12 inches of snow that will follow with subzero temps at night. This would be the most single storm snow since Feb. of 2010 for us. Definitely going to be a while before I can ride around here but we will get through it.Feb. 1st we are getting closer. We have about 6 inches of snow in northern Michigan. Probably won't be able to ride up here till April. Sounds like down state is going to get hammered with a big storm tonight and tomorrow.
My wrenches are so cold in my toolbox out in the garage. Thank GOD that they are Snap On and Mac wrenches or they would probably break in two if dropped on the cold floor.Happy Lunar New Year, I'm not 100% sure but I believe it's also the Chinese New Year as they follow the lunar calendar instead of the Gregorian calendar. Happy Groundhog Day as well, now that it's February, us northerners are one month closer to riding weather!!!! Winters our maintenance / upgrades & updates season so wrench on wrenchers
