1. EBC front brake pads- OMG! What a difference. Should have been like this from the get-go. Tons more feel at the start of the squeeze. Gonna have to do the back now. 2.Factory heated grips- Easy install, plug and play. Work well. Between these and the Gerbings G3 gloves I'll keep this Raynaud's thing that's making my finger tips go numb at bay. 3. Adjustable passenger floor boards- Pricey and a PITA to install, but is she's happy, I'm happy. She's got them in the middle position which is an inch lower than stock. So regardless of what they say, an inch makes a huge difference. Sorry. 4. Cheap amp- I was given a Mitzu (@ $50. shipped) so I figured why not? It drives the Kicker's pretty good, but I'm sure that a higher quality piece would make a difference. The tough part is the mounting. I'm happy with the location and brackets I made. There is actually a ton of room behind the fairing. 5. Chrome license plate frame- $6.95 shipped. Bling! Time for riding!

Completely agree on the EBS and heated grips! The EBC mske surprising improvement. Curious about the amp? I have/had the impression that the aftermarket amps needed to be mounted in one of the saddlebags, not in the fairing. I gather your had no space issues? Do you remember the dimensions of the amp you used?

It was around 7" square +/_, and about 1 3/4" thick. It fit right behind the headlight, at an angle, sloping down to the base of the radio head unit. I have some pictures I could post if there's any interest.

Do the EBCs make the "locust sound" on your bike. I put EBC sintered pads on my last bike and they did. After a little internet investigation, I found out this was a common occurence. The pads worked great, though.
