spelccher, Mine is working fine. I left it like that on purpose to see if it would pick up.

It's a late update, but we did fine. I last time I upgraded the tires to a higher load rating, 81 rear and 69 front.
We're planning a 10 day trip this year thru Colorado.

Excellent, man! Good idea on upgrading the rear tire. Enjoy Colorado. It's a beautiful place once you get out of Denver.

For the past 18 months, I was planning a 3 week ride to a bike club convention just outside Atlanta this coming July. Then my buddy backs out a couple of weeks ago - says he can't be away from his wife for almost a month. I damn near gagged at that excuse and was pee'd off. She could careless, happy to be free from him. I detest excuses guys use that has them hiding behind their wive's aprons.

Been there done that! I always plan for everyone to bail. Some do but most don't. I'd still go alone.
