Ok I've created custom routes several times.

Going on a trip and decided to try this site Motorcycle Roads SundayMorningRides.com

Lots of pre-existing routes put together.

However for the life of me I cant' figure out how to get the maps to GPS.

I can copy them over, I can view them, however they are never drivable routes, just locations(trailhead 1, 5 etc).

I thought i'd be able to just download a map with tracks someone made already, copy it over, load it up and let it direct me

Anyone ever do this? Can someone help me so I don't have to manually create these maps all over?

nevermind just figured it out, what a PITA but a real time saver!!

I think if it works like the Tom tom used to, you can save the route to your system then, though it will act as a route planner and you go to your settings and go planned route, select the one you want and then it will only show up as the first way stop on the route, then when you there it will change to the next planned stop etc......

Try that.... I do not own a garmin and probably never will....
