Are the cross country tours drivers floorboards adjustable forward and backwards and do they also have a adjustement to tilt them? I did read the on line owners manual and it didnt say anything about it. The dealer didnt have a clue,he didnt even know the brake petal and shifter were adjustable. Thanks

I know my 11 XC has three settings, not sure about the 2012.Tour.

The driver floor boards are not adjustable but the controls are. I think the factory setting is in the middle of 3 settings. When i moved mine forward i cut and threaded the shift rod and added a coupler nut because it did not seem to have enough threads in either rod end.

My right side floor board would not tilt, dealer was 150 miles away took out pin under board took a file and made radius bigger. Hit it with somr black paint. Can't see it and it tilts about 2 inches enough if it drags you have a chance.

no need to cut and thread, the arm on the splined shaft can be rotated for needed linkage length. you are correct, rider boards are not adjustable.
It's not a good idea to re-clock your shift linkage it changes the geometry on how the the bike shifts. But everybody does things their own way anyways so do what works for you.

I want to install my Highway pegs on my 2011 Vision Tour. Bought a used set so no instructions. How difficult is it to remove the Floorboards? I dont have a lift. And dont see any other way to drill holes in the floorboard. So I beleive i have to remove them.

No need to remove them just remove the rubber tops the holes are already in the floor boards a little silicone spray on the tabs that stick through the floor boards will ease the removal and reinstall of the rubber tops.

I put heel blades on my floorboards and just popped the rubber floor pad off todrill holes, just pry it up. It's a bit of a pain to get the knobs back into the holes.
