Anybody able to measure their seat and give me the front seat length, overall length, rear seat length, and rear seat width? I am wanting to try and cut one down for an Octane.
Thanks! An overlay of the size on the seat would be even better...

I really think you need to take your bike down to the dealer and look at a unmounted XC standard seat to see if it's even possible.
I threw a tape on mine for some general numbers on the standard one.
Measuring centered on the top of the seat..
The drivers seating area is 12" front-back(f-b), and 14" wide..then there is a 4" f-b bolster that ends at the drivers backrest slot hole. The passengers seating area is 11" f-b and aprox 10" wide plus a rough textured 2.5" f-b that's behind the smooth portion of the passengers seating area (same elevation).
The seat measures aprox 34.5" f-b when measured from the side and using the front side tank flairs.
The max width is aprox 16"..the area under the driver.

Thanks, my dealer is not really interested. I have spoken to them several times to see if they would unbolt a seat and set the XC seat on it.... They just spend their time trying to talk me out of it, want to sell me a new aftermarket seat...

its the bottom of the seat that will not fit your frame and fender.
You should start from the bottom and work your way up.
90% sure it will not work
