Congratulations! You won't be disappointed. The way it drops you down and back you feel more like a bad ass when you ride. I've done 500 mile days on that seat and not been afraid to get on it again the next day. Added bonus: my wife does not mind riding on it. She says it is more ergonomic. Who knew?

Does the stock passenger backrest still work with the magnum seat?

Yes it does. My wife rode with it a couple days ago when our cage broke down.(Long story.)
The challenge for Magnum riders is what to do with the bag fillers. Some opt to remove them, others cut them. As an XC rider, I'm not burdened with such decisions.
