I'm accustomed to the integrated CB system on the HD Touring bikes and I'm having trouble finding answers about the integrated CB system (the N-Touch system)for the Victory Cross-Country Tour. Local dealers can't tell me much as they've had littleor no experience with it.I want a corded system, not a bluetooth system.
1. Does anyone have knowledge about how this Victory system compares with HD's system particularlyfor clarity and range? My concern is that with a shorter antenna, whichis not mounted high above the tour pack, the clarity and transmission & reception rangewould be compromised.
2. What about for ease of use andreliability as compared to HD's system?
3. I have J&M headsets with a half helmet that worked great with the HD system.I want to continue riding with a half helmet. Can I use this setup for the Victory system realizing that I may have to get a different plug-in pin configuration?
4. I assume the integrated Victory system works with the radio and auxiliary adapter (e.g. for iPod) in such a way that the CB and passenger intercom would both override the radio and iPod and that the CB would override the passengerintercom. Is that how it works?
Thanks,
bernrich
