Hello all. I just installed ness fly bars, kuryakan iso grips, throttle boss, and have a brake-away throttle lock. When I got to the throttle lock, the clamp to hold the unit in place won't fit between the switch houseing and the brake. All of this is due to the ness fly bars are larger in the center, and then shrink to factory original size, and the hole drilled in the bars for the switch houseing. Has anyone installed one of these on fly bars? Did you run into the same issue? What did you do to resolve this?
My solution is to drill another hole or elongate the current hole .120 farther to the end of the bar. The grip will hang off the bar another .120 farther than it already is, but I do not see a problem with this. Maybe I have the wrong part number for my application?
Oh, and by the way, The ride with the ness fly bars feel so much more natural than the stock bars that I replaced. Thanks for any info or suggestions John
