The Andrews 413 cams, Lloydz air intake, lift kit for the tank, Maximus tuned by @NOEMTZ , and an underdrive pulley might get you just what you're after.
Ran the 413 cams in my Xroads and was quite pleased. They're significantly cheaper than the 505's.
Call Noe and get his opinion before spending any money.
 
Did you have any luck on the rim change? I was looking through to see if I had to buy all the hub accessories or if the spoke could just be converted to an alloy with same parts? I had a faulty tube from the factory where it had doubled over and chafed on the tire and put a hole in it, I was in key west and no one wanted to touch it, finally found a shade tree guy to do it. Needless to say I’ve wanted to get away from tubed since, and know the front could be sealed and ran tubless, but have heard it’s not as good of an idea to do that with the rear(I’m not sure why)
Personally I don't trust sealing a spoked rim, the other X bike rear cast wheels are a straight swap.
