omg how is this not sold yet?

I am looking at a 2012 here in the Netherlands and it the price is --> 12000 Euros.. (12.000 Euro equals 14.059,74 United States Dollar!)

Am looking for a nice VIC for years now but they just are'n t here... tons of HD's but only about 5 vics and only 2 cc 12k and way up :-(

What ChattMark said ^^^ ;).
No, not a looker. One or two questions, but no one has come to LOOK at it...

No reason to shut up, the opposite is true. The more good communication the better.

I also have no idea who ships internationally, but there are certainly companies that specialize in doing so.

An internet search could answer all the unknowns.

Greetings,
Yeah, I have thought about calling Rylan. Maybe just to see if he needed a parts bike. Yeah, and the lowers are worth $750 each, and... It seems a shame to sell it in pieces, but it is almost worth more that way at this point. :(

Thanks for the thoughts, ride safe,
Smokier

That's gross... People are scared at this point to buy into it.

Rylan likely did it because $3500 is about what he could get for the parts that ‘could’ sell independently. Without having to put the costs of labor, storage and the hassle of selling, negotiating with lowball creeps and shipping costs into it. He’s a repair shop, not a used bike or a used parts business.

IMHO, what parts on a CCT that ‘could’ sell independently are the motor ($1600), the heated seat ($350), the trunk ($800) and the lowers ($800/set). All are a painful and an expensive packaging and shipping scenario. The Vic Shop isn’t an easy place to get to to pick them up in person for 90%+ of the population.

For those reasons and more, I completely understand why he sold that CCT for $3500. It got it out of his shop and I’m certain he made, and saved, money on it at $3500. I suspect both Rylan and the buyer were quite pleased with that transaction.

At the same time, the ‘bar’ was severely negatively adjusted regarding a used Victory to anyone that saw that CCT sale.

The Vic market is tanked. Local HD shop offered me 2K for my bike yesterday. I’m in for the long haul. Financially I have to be but fortunately for me, I also want to be.
The cost and details of shipping a beautiful CCT from Iowa in the United States to the Netherlands.
Best they contact a place that specializes in shipping bikes and cars for a quote on shipping, customs, re-compliance to local spec, there's more to it that just the actual ship cargo.
For me it was worthwhile at the time.

At the same time here in .nl 3 cross country's popped up on the market, a 2012 with 52k km, a 2015 with more then 60k on it for 12k euros...... (12.000 Euro equals 14.037,78 United States Dollar) And e beautiful 2016 cc magnum.. 18.70 euros
Its not fair :)

Anyway, If I ship this one (or any other) it will end up to be about the same amount of money.. perhaps 1000 a 1500 less I think.. due to all taxes and stupid regulations here, so I will have to trade in my 2007 HD on one and take the hit of about 5k.

Did i mention I need a Vic yet? :)

You'll experience a multitude of differences going from your 2007 Harley to a Victory Cross bike.
And every one of them will be quite positive.

I did reach out to Rylan. He knew of no one looking. :( What is sad, is it is the best motorcycle ever to occupy a space in my garages. Equally as interesting is that the Cross Roads got more looks and low ball offers than the CCT. Somethings just don't compute...

Check the price - dropped again...

That's crazy but it may be just those in the market right now. Most people are still clueless about Victory and what a great value they truly are. Some are scared because they went out of business in 2017.
It's sad to see you having to lower the price again to hopefully garner some interest.

I am retiring this December. Momma and I are selling everything and going to full time RV. AKA live on the road. We want lighter smaller adventure bikes (V-Strom 650's) for our day trips. There will be no more week long rides, or over night rides for us. Additionally, in the Great North Western US, the paved roads get fewer and the good gravel roads get abundant. The thought of riding these 'big' bikes on gravel for miles / hours at a time sounds like work, not retired like putting.
Loading and unloading 450# bikes seems a lot more practical than 900# bikes.

We both LOVE[d] our Vic's. Momma actually got misty when hers sold...

Tell ya what…..if you will deliver to the Buffalo ny area, I’ll pay asking price in cash. I rode to muscatine Iowa to trade in a 4 year old Goldwing for a new one several years ago. Friggin pouring rain the whole trip back and forth.

if that’s doable for you pm me and I’ll give you my phone number to discuss it.

ps - I’m 15 minutes from Niagara Falls, so it could be a nice little adventure for you😀

Seriously? Half what it should sell for plus the seller delivers? That’s beyond insulting. And not at all funny regardless of an emoji.

How about you pay a motorcycle delivery company plus a $4500 premium over the current asking price: just because.

I said what I said.
