Let's just say it reduces the twist distance just enough. Might not be 1/4 turn but it's notmore than your wrist will rotate like stock.
I'm goin' for it! :D

I would love to install this product. Does anyone know if it works with the Victory heated grips?
Has nothing to do with the grips. It just increases the diameter of the ring the cables ride in. Larger ring more cable being pulled. There's enough room in the bottom of the track that the stock ring rides in for it to fit without modification...just need some careful cable tension adjustment.

I just installed a HR1 sized ring on my Cross Roads with kuryakyn grips. It fits fine.
I had a hell of a time with on of the screws on the housing (stripped the Philips slot out) had to use a hammer and chisel to break it loose.
Aside from that, it was a piece of cake.

It does what it claims; takes about a 1/4 turn off the distance to full throttle. So I'm happy with it.

I installed one yesterday. I already had the tank off while installing my hydraulic clutch, but it only takes 10 mins or less to get it off. Probably closer to 5. But installing the ring it took maybe 15 minutes and that's pushing it. Just 2 screws on the bottom and 2 on the side of the throttle housing. Slid the ring around the existing throttle, literally 4 seconds. Screwed the screws back in. The longest process was adjusting the throttle cables under the tank to make sure they don't stick. Probably 5-8 minutes. I would think they should quote you no more than half hour.

Another option would be us doing it for free. Not sure if you have it done already. I can always help.

I installed one on heated grips and it shouldn't be an issue on any grip style as its placed inside the throttle slide housing. Just pull the right cheese wedge to get all the cable slack you can to ease the ring install, then readjust on top and bottom.

This is really an ergo mod even tho some call it a race mod. Get it you'll quickly get used to it and love the S*** out of it. So much so I have to do this mod on every bike I get.

Fabricate a 1/4 throttle ring;
This is the route I went sans the tablesaw jig process.

I installed mine as well back a few months ago. Relatively straight forward, but I also had a stripped screwhead, and was a PIA to remove. Other than that, just getting the cables around the throttle ring can be a chore, so make sure you have enough slack (at the throttle body). Still, one of my favorite mods!

Got mine installed but can not tell any difference :( mechanic said some accept the ring some don't even went back a second time for them to show me it was installed did not believe it was in there but it is waste of time and money

Weird....BIG difference when I put mine on...LOVE it...especially when my HD buddy thinks he's going to get jump on me...I can see him roll his hand forward KNOWING he's going to be getting ON it. I just do a nice comfy twist...and he's soon in my mirror

Too bad it didn't work for you. I'm not sure how it's possible for it to not work. The ring increases the diameter of the throttle housing which in turn removes slack and the distance the cable has to travel to be a full throttle. With the ring, the throttle can only turn 1/4 of the way around from starting point. Before it would be at least a half turn if not 3/4 turn to full throttle.

I just can't figure out why it wouldn't work.

Is it sitting off the side of the throttle? its a mechanical part, with absolutely no moving pieces. it is physically impossible for it to "not work". where in the world did the shop install it? on the throttle body itself?

Something in cable I am not mechanically inclined so have to take there word for it payed them for half an hour (60.00) bucks so pretty much srewed I guess, plus 20 for ring 80 bucks total for nothing :(
