I'm looking for new levers for my '05 Hammer, but all the levers I find say they fit '08 and newer. Does anyone know what change was made? Can the later levers be easily adapted to fit the early models?

2008 and newer models use a new design for the brake and clutch lever housings that I believe is unique to Victory. The earlier style controls look like something you’d find on a Yamaha or Honda etc. you might have better luck fitting a lever off of something like that. Just a guess on my part. Good luck in your search.
I would say the later years levers would not fit. The 2008 model was the changeover from Brembo to Nissin brakes, with it came a different front brake m/c hence a different lever. No doubt the clutch perch was changed as well. Switch gear was probably changed as well. The 2008 and on wards do not feature the "choke" lever as the earlier models do.
