First off, disconnecting the O2 sensors DOES NOT make the bike run richer. All you are doing is keeping the bike from entering closed-loop mode (which it only does occasionally anyway).

Secondly, all this O2 unplugging and trying to manipulate the tuning of the engine WITHOUT a means to actually manipulate the tuning of the engine is a fruitless waste of energy. If you want the bike to be "tuned" then you need a means to tune it and you need to have it tuned, period.
Not what I see on the dyno. With 02's connected bike ran 14.5-15.3 at steady cruise; 15% brake. Same cruise unplugged it ran 14.1-14.5 that means in open lop the fueling trends to a little richer then in closed.

Right, but other than the closed loop, steady state cruise situation the mixture is not changed... and 14.1 to 14.5 is still leaner than I would tune for. Disconnecting the O2s is just keeping it from closing the loop... not "making the bike run richer"
Huh? Bike is running half a point richer..........that means that by forcing open loop you are making it run richer. Is it tuned.....no, but it makes a little difference. When I'm setting up cruise I shoot for 14. So yes it's a bit leaner then I would tune, but better then the 15 I see all the time
