116/117 would still be a generous dyno.

I’d say 95%+ would likely fall into the 110-113 for HP and 110-114 for Trq. That’s with cams, Lloyds air filter, decent mufflers and either Maximus or a decent dyno tune with a PCV.

Right and with Andrew413s I'm seeing sheets with 108-110hp and 118-122tq

And no @MagVic CCT i don’t mean the difference in the amount of fig newtons you eat, It’s tough when is so many resident smart asses just waiting to bust ur chops

Ahhh, your training is complete.

The variations could be due to which sae smoothing number or the newton difference
I get that, I just always thought the 413s produced a bit more torque and a bit less horsepower than the 505.

I ride mostly in the 2-4k range and 30% 2up.
When I was researching which cams I needed Rylan & Corey said the 413’s or the 505’s, I think Noe also mentioned both but Llyods only recommended the 501’s or 505’s. Go figure, Llyods only recommended their own brand

Although I still have my doubts about what really happened, I ended up paying for a OEM fuel pump and labor and they re-tuned the bike. A horrendous experience overall, but I am happy to put it behind me and have a stronger running bike... Although I'm already wondering about an underdrive pulley:cool:. Doesn't take long to get used to extra power!
I rarely let someone else work on my vehicles, when I do I let them know I want any old parts they replace. I grant it isn’t failsafe but better than not getting the old parts especially if those old parts can be rebuilt.

505’ s are a great cam. Only reason KevinX recommended them was because I had Ness Big Honkers. A open free flowing loud azz muffler vs a full can muffler like D&D or Vance & Hines. You can choose your cams if you Haven't chosen your exhaust yet but if you already have an exhaust and want to keep it then your cams are chosen for you and that comes by a good tuner like Noe Martinez, Rylan Voss or Lloydz ….or like back in the day Kevin X and Kyle KMC.

It’s called a package or combination or a recipe for performance. I’ll tell you this. Line up next to my 505 cammed X1 with your Andrews cammed bike or your 501 cammed bike and let’s see how well you did choosing your mods. My buddy with 501’s, Vance & Hines and PCV found out. All tail lights for him brother.
Ive seen 501’s fall on their face with wrong exhaust which leads to a compromised tune. The benefit of 505 cams is the power comes on a little sooner like 500 rpm sooner. More meat in the lower rpm and like so many have stated ….. they produce less up top ? Well I’m pulling clean to 6k and there’s no reason to be shifting up there anyway. 5500 is the magic number for your next gear.

413's in my CR along with the Lloydz filter, timing wheel, PC5 and tank lift kit.
Runs damned good.
Haven't ridden one with Lloydz cams but I can make about any H-D cry.
Only thing that would make things better would be a Maximus tune.
Please don't ride your Vic below 2500RPM.
Oh please, I ride below 2500 easily. It's a BS thing posted on these forums and has become the norm..... LOL

Max tune would definitely help smoothin it out I'm sure.

I gotta admit sometimes I put along on flat ground @ 21-2350, is weird…..I swear she didnt like that much before it hit 48k miles & minds less now at 62,5??k miles. Under 20k miles she hated it!!!
Careful grasshopper, ole slicks gotta udp hahaha

Yea I have just under 19k and I bought it a couple years ago at 10K and I have always cruised along at 50-55 in 6th which lands me around 2000-2300 if I remember correctly. It never felt bad......

LOL, sometimes its the driver.... hahaha

Long as you stay on the positive side of the tranny & remember to slip the clutch if go off throttle when dips under 1950 on mine she won’t get bucky, really depends on terrain for how low rpm I can get away with just don’t “chug” it or can get top end rattle

Worked on many, many V-twins and have first hand knowledge of what 'lugging' does to them.
Specifically H-D and Victory.

I agree with lugging.....its very subjective and its not about RPM alone. Its more about how much throttle you are giving it so if I'm running below 2k I'm certainly not going to be on the throttle going up a hill with my wife on the back. LOL
